CoinShares reports thirteenth week of digital asset inflows

CoinShares writes that digital asset investment products saw inflows totalling USD151 million last week, the 13th consecutive week of inflows, bringing year-to-date inflows to a record USD9 billion.

Bitcoin saw the majority of inflows totalling USD98 million, pushing AuM to a record USD56 billion.
Altcoin inflows were led by Cardano with inflows totalling USD16 million last week although CoinShares writes that it cannot identify a discernible catalyst at this point.

Although flows have been positive recently, the firm says that it has witnessed subdued volumes in 2H, averaging USD750 million daily versus USD960 million in 1H 2021.
