European ETF provider Tabula Investment Management has hired Mandy Chiu as Head of Product to build on the company’s strong growth in 2021.

Most recently Chiu was head of EMEA and APAC ETF Product at State Street Global Advisors (SSGA). Prior to joining SSGA in 2016, Chiu was responsible for product and business strategy at ETF Securities and HSBC in London. Earlier in her career, she worked as a futures and options broker at Yuanta Securities in Taiwan. Chiu is a CFA charterholder and holds a degree in Economics from National Taipei University as well as an MSc in Finance from Cass Business School.

“We are delighted that Mandy has joined Tabula”, says Michael John Lytle, CEO of Tabula. “She is a highly experienced ETF professional with a knowledge of building successful ETF businesses. 2021 was a transformative year for Tabula as our AuM passed USD650 million. We launched the first SFDR Article 9 fixed income ETF and grew it to over USD100 million of AuM, saw huge interest in our US enhanced inflation ETF, and raised over USD200 million in our Asia high yield ESG ETF. With Mandy’s experience we are building on our ability to bring new and innovative ETF solutions and exposures to investors.”

Chiu will work closely with Tabula CIO Jason Smith, who joined the firm from Goldman Sachs Asset Management in 2020, and Andy Baker who drives product and portfolio development. “The team have created a market-leading business that we are keen to further expand and enhance,” says MJ Lytle.

Chiu says: “Tabula has ambitious plans for 2022 and a strong pipeline for product launches. I’m very excited to join Tabula’s dynamic and innovative team.”
