ETFs and ETPs listed in Europe gathered a new monthly record of USD29.06 billion during January surpassing the prior record of USD27.17 billion gathered in December 2020 according to ETFGI.
Assets invested in the European ETFs industry have decreased by 1.9 per cent, from USD1.60 trillion at the end of December, to USD1.57 trillion, according to ETFGI.
Amundi, having completed the Lyxor acquisition, is now the second largest ETF issuer in Europe with 13.4 per cent market share. January was the 22nd month of consecutive net inflows and there were USD202.19 billion in net inflows gathered in the past 12 months.
Assets of USD1.57 trillion invested in the ETF industry in Europe at the end of January are the second highest on record, and equity ETFs and ETPs listed in Europe gathered a record USD24.94 billion in net inflows 2022.
