Last year’s firm favourites in the listing charts for ETFs were ESG and crypto and this week brings us both, plus another new favourite in uncertain times in the US – the defined outcome ETF.
Last year’s firm favourites in the listing charts for ETFs were ESG and crypto and this week brings us both, plus another new favourite in uncertain times in the US – the defined outcome ETF.
In terms of crypto launches, 21Shares brought its Chainlink, Terra and Uniswap ETPs to Paris and Amsterdam plus access to Decentraland and FTX, while Global X hit the ESG spot with its ETFs based on wind energy and hydrogen and Engine No 1 brought us Transform Climate. WisdomTree brought us the New Economy Real Estate ETF, focusing on global real estate likely to benefit from the ‘new economy’.
Defined outcome came from the pioneers of that style, Innovator Capital in the US and more clever stuff came from Northern Trust’s FlexShares which listed a private equity ETF and Hamilton ETFs which launch a US covered call ETF.
Finally, Faith Investor Services launched an active biblically responsible ETF aimed at Christian investors.
