ETFGI reports ESG ETP inflows down year on year

ESG ETPs listed globally gathered net inflows of USD9.81 billion during January 2022, according to ETF data providers ETFGI.

This is lower than the USD19.76 billion gathered in January 2021, the firm notes. Total assets invested in ESG ETFs and ETPs decreased by 3.2 per cent from USD392 billion at the end of December 2021 to USD379 billion. 

Assets of USD379 billion invested in ESG ETFs listed globally at the end of January 2022 are the second highest on record, and there were USD151.57 billion in net inflows gathered in the past 12 months.
