Bank of Japan holds 63 per cent of ETF assets in Japan


ETF data provider ETFGI has reported that the Bank of Japan holds 63 per cent of the assets invested in ETFs listed in Japan at the end of February. 

The ETFs industry in Japan gathered net inflows of USD669 million during February. Assets invested in the ETFs industry in Japan have decreased by 0.7 per cent, from USD518 billion at the end of January to USD515 billion, according to ETFGI.

Assets have decreased 4.8 per cent YTD in 2022, going from USD541 billion at the end of 2021 to USD515 billion.
