First Trust launches infrastructure companies ETF

A new ETF issued by First Trust has been tradable on Xetra and via Börse Frankfurt since Thursday.

The firm writes that its First Trust Alerian Disruptive Technology Real Estate UCITS ETF tracks the performance of public companies worldwide that are driving physical infrastructure in connection with the development of disruptive technologies. Investors gain access to companies that own or lease real estate used in mobile networks, distributed computing, or e-commerce warehousing. This includes, for example, mobile phone towers, satellites, fibre optic cables or warehouses. The weighting of a company is limited to 10 per cent in each case.
