Global ETFs gathered USD123.35bn in net inflows in March 2022


March saw global ETFs industry gathering USD123.35 billion in net inflows in March bringing Q1 2022 net inflows to USD305.63 billion, the second highest after the Q1 2021 record of USD361.14 billion, according to ETF data providers ETFGI. 

At the end of the month, assets invested globally in the ETFs industry increased by 2.7 per cent, from USD9.82 trillion at the end of February to USD10.08 trillion.

Assets decreased 1.8 per cent in Q1 2022, going from USD10.27 trillion at the end of 2021 to USD10.08 trillion. Some USD1.24 trillion in net inflows has been gathered in the past 12 months, and March was the 34th month of consecutive net inflows. Equity ETFs and ETPs listed globally gathered USD76.24 billion net inflows in March 2022.
