UBS Asset Management (UBS AM) has launched an ETF that tracks the Bloomberg MSCI US Liquid Corporates 1-5 Year Sustainable Index (Total Return).
The firm writes that the fund inherits some of the well-known features of the Bloomberg Liquid Corporates 1-5 Year methodology such as a minimum amount outstanding of the security, time since issuance of less than two years, and time to maturity of one to five years. In addition to these criteria, the issuers must pass a broad sustainability assessment, such as meeting the minimum MSCI ESG Rating threshold (BBB rating) and not being involved in a wide range of business activities.
Andrew Walsh, Head of ETF & Index Fund Sales UK & Ireland, says: “This new Fund complements our existing investment grade credit ETF offering and solidifies our position in the fixed income sustainable space. Thanks to our customisation, these funds meet the demands of clients who are interested in gaining exposure to the liquid short-maturity part of the US and Eurozone credit markets, in a sustainable manner.”
The UBS ETF (LU) Bloomberg MSCI US Liquid Corporates 1-5 Year Sustainable UCITS ETF A-acc is listed on the London Stock Exchange, Xetra, Borsa Italiana and SIX Swiss Exchange.
