During the month, assets invested in the European ETFs industry increased by 0.05 per cent, from USD1.48 trillion at the end of April to USD1.48 trillion, according to ETFGI.
Assets decreased 7.3 per cent YTD in 2022, going from USD1.60 trillion at end of 2021 to USD1.48 trillion. There were net inflows of USD1.87 billion in May 2022.
YTD net inflows of USD68.69 billion are the second highest, after YTD net inflows in 2021 of USD95.19 billion, while the past 12 months have seen USD167.14 billion in net inflows, and 26 months of consecutive net inflows.
