ETFs in the US gathered USD43.18 billion during August 2022 says ETFGI

During the month, assets invested in US ETFs industry decreased by 2.7 per cent, from USD6.61 trillion at the end of July to USD6.43 trillion in August 2022. The YTD net inflows of USD386.21 billion in 2022 are the second highest, after YTD net inflows of USD594.41 billion in 2021, and represent the fourth month of consecutive net inflows.


Year to date, US ETF assets decreased 10.8 per cent in 2022, going from USD7.21 trillion at the end of 2021 to USD6.43 trillion. Equity ETFs and ETPs listed in the US gathered YTD net inflows of USD189.99 billion, the third highest on record, after YTD net inflows of USD412.41 billion in 2021 and YTD net inflows of USD200.36 billion in 2017.
