European ETF assets down over September

ETFGI reports that the ETFs industry in Europe suffered net outflows of USD5.06 billion in September, bringing year-to-date net inflows to USD61.52 billion.

During the month, assets invested in the ETFs industry in Europe decreased by 8.4 per cent, from USD1.37 trillion at the end of August to USD1.26 trillion.

This is the first month of net outflows and European ETFs year to date have seen assets decrease 21.4 per cent.
