WBI announces strategic partnership with Pacer ETFs

WBI, an invest-tech and fintech company, and Pacer ETFs, a nine-time award winning ETF provider, including awards from the ETF Express US Awards, has announced a strategic partnership designed to transform how financial advisers interact with clients to personalise and implement model portfolios.

WBI writes that it is an award winning fintech platform (a.k.a. Cy) offering investment technology that optimises multi-manager portfolios that target loss or return. With inputs from the client and assistance from a financial adviser, the platform’s interactive toolkit establishes client benchmarks for loss and return. The imbedded invest-tech then optimises a portfolio to meet the client’s targets, the firm writes, enabling financial advisers to instantly customise their portfolios to position the client for success.

Pacer ETFs has been recognised for its client-focused philosophy, the firm writes. One of the industry’s leading firms in strategy-driven, rules-based ETFs, Pacer ETFs continues to seek innovative and timely ways to serve investor needs and adapt to market conditions, the firm says.

“WBI is excited to work with Pacer ETFs. Their rules-based ETF offerings seek to produce strong risk-adjusted returns which are favoured by the platform’s optimisation engine,” says Matt Schreiber, Co-CEO at WBI. “This partnership allows both parties to build on the momentum around our innovative products and shared mission to help improve investor outcomes.”

WBI invest-tech features a multi-manager machine optimisation engine that builds portfolios that aim to target a specific level of loss while attempting to maximise return. The firm’s proprietary Capital Power Ratio seeks to unleash capital compounding, the firm writes.

Similarly, Pacer’s Cash Cow Series aims to generate capital appreciation by investing in companies with high-free-cash-flow yield that are trading at a discount. The firm has grown their AUM by USD10.3 billion in the last 14 months.

Bruce Kavanaugh, Head of Investments at Pacer Advisors, says:  “This now allows Pacer to introduce cutting edge model solutions to advisers through an award winning technology leader.”
