ETF data provider ETFGI has reported that the ETF industry in Europe gathered net inflows of USD7.33 billion during October, bringing year-to-date net inflows to USD68.82 billion.
During the month, assets invested in the European ETF/ETP industry increased by 5.1 per cent, from USD1.26 trillion at the end of September to USD1.32 trillion, the firm says.
The YTD net inflows of USD68.82 billion are significantly lower compared to the YTD net inflows in 2021 of USD165.83 billion, the firm says, citing assets of USD1.32 trillion invested in ETFs and ETPs listed in Europe at the end of October.
Assets decreased 17.4 per cent YTD in 2022, going from USD1.60 trillion at end of 2021 to USD1.32 trillion.
