BNP Paribas Easy has launched five ETFs on Xetra and via the trading venue Börse Frankfurt.
The new ETFs are designed to give investors access to the world’s largest companies that focus on sustainable themes. These include circular economy, use of ocean resources, infrastructure, medical technology and hydrogen. Each company is equally weighted. The trading currency is US dollars.
The BNP Paribas Easy ECPI Circular Economy Leaders UCITS ETF allows investors to invest in the 50 largest companies that participate in the circular economy while reducing the use of coal and unconventional fossil fuels.
The BNP Paribas Easy ECPI Global ESG Blue Economy UCITS ETF comprises a global portfolio of 50 companies which contribute to a sustainable use of ocean resources. These include renewable marine energies such as offshore wind, marine biotechnologies, eco-tourism, sustainable fisheries and maritime transport.
The BNP Paribas Easy ECPI Global ESG Infrastructure UCITS ETF gives investors access to the 100 largest companies active in sustainable infrastructure development and maintenance, i.e. transport, social services, water and waste management.
The BNP Paribas Easy ECPI Global ESG Med Tech UCITS ETF invests in 50 companies focused on sustainable medical technology in the biotechnology and healthcare sectors.
In addition, the BNP Paribas Easy ECPI Global ESG Hydrogen Economy UCITS ETF provides investors with exposure to 40 companies that are most active in the hydrogen economy. These include manufacturers, suppliers, repositories or consumers of hydrogen-powered solutions, as well as companies that play a significant role in the generation of electricity from renewable sources.
All five ETFs exclude companies that violate ESG criteria or the UN Global Compact.
