ETF data providers ETFGI has reported that the ETFs industry in the United States gathered net inflows of USD8.17 billion during February, bringing year-to-date net inflows to USD47.69 billion.
During the month, assets invested in ETFs industry in the United States decreased by 1.9 per cent, from USD6.88 trillion at the end of January to USD6.75 trillion in February 2023.
YTD net inflows of USD47.69 billion are the sixth highest on record, while the highest recorded YTD net inflows are of USD153.95 billion for 2021 followed by YTD net inflows of USD99.04 billion in 2022. This was the 10th month of consecutive net inflows, and there were assets of USD6.76 trillion invested in the ETF industry in the United States at the end of February, assets having increased 3.8 per cent YTD in 2023, going from USD6.51 trillion at end of 2022 to USD6.75 trillion.
