US ETF Launches from 29th June to 6th July, 2023

Eight ETF offerings were launched for the week, each with a distinct value proposition for investors.  Detailed below are the respective launches from each asset manager.

Avantis Investors launched four new active ETFs. All four ETFs are “fund of funds,” and utilise a range of existing Avantis ETFs to build out multi-region and multi-asset class solutions. Detailed below are the investment objectives of each fund and their geographic focus.

The Avantis All International Markets Equity ETF is designed to provide exposure to a broadly diversified set of companies and sectors across internationally developed and emerging market countries while focusing on securities with higher expected returns.

The Avantis All Equity Markets Value ETF is a globally focused solution designed to provide exposure to a broadly diversified set of companies that reflect value characteristics and are expected to have higher expected returns.

The Avantis All International Markets Value ETF is designed to provide exposure to a broadly diversified set of companies and sectors that reflect value characteristics, across internationally developed and emerging market countries.

The Avantis Moderate Allocation ETF is a strategic allocation solution designed to provide broad market exposure, while emphasising securities with higher expected returns.

Natixis Investment managers launched an active US equity ETF.  The Natixis Loomis Sayles Focused Growth ETF is an active US large-cap growth fund that targets companies trading at a discount to intrinsic value. The fund takes a long-term, private equity ownership perspective, focusing on high-quality businesses with truly sustainable competitive advantages. Its managers use a fundamental research-intensive approach based on a seven-step stock selection process and strict buy and sell disciplines.

iM Global Partner has launched a new dividend growth ETF. The iMGP Berkshire Dividend Growth Equity ETF s an active, fully transparent ETF that targets U.S. large-cap dividend-paying equities.

Berkshire Asset Management will sub-advise the fund using their proprietary dividend growth strategy that evaluates a firm’s current dividend policy, but also considers the company’s overall quality and future prospects.

BlackRock launched two Buffer ETFs. The iShares Large Cap Moderate Buffer ETF and iShares Large Cap Deep Buffer ETF offer buffered exposure to the price performance of the iShares Core S&P 500 ETF However, BlackRock is offering its own take on the buffered ETF concept, as the two funds reset quarterly rather than annually.
