US ETF Launches from 6th to 13th July, 2023


Some 12 new ETF offerings were launched for the week, each with a distinct value proposition for investors.  Detailed below are the respective launches from each asset manager.

Simplify Asset Management launched the Simplify Multi-QIS Alternative ETF. The solution is designed to deliver positive absolute returns and income; and seeks to do so by investing in a diversified portfolio of third-party quantitative investment strategies across equities, interest rates, commodities, and currencies.

MUSQ, LLC launched the MUSQ Global Music Industry ETF. The ETF offers investors a way to align their portfolios with the entire music industry ecosystem, including streaming services, content and distribution, live events and ticketing, satellite and broadcast radio, as well as music equipment and technology.

The ETF tracks the MUSQ Global Music Industry Index (MUSQIX), administered by EQM Indexes. Holdings in the fund include Universal Music, Warner Music, Live Nation, Spotify, Sony Music, Hybe, and SM Entertainment.

Innovator Capital Management, LLC launched four Premium Income Barrier ETFs. The four funds offer exposure to the performance of the S&P 500 price index and the performance of U.S. Treasuries and also protect against losses of 10%, 20%, 30% and 40%, respectively.

Schwab Asset Management launched the Schwab High Yield Bond ETF. The fund seeks to provide broad-based exposure to the U.S. high yield corporate bond market with a focus on liquidity. The fund will track the ICE BofA US Cash Pay High Yield Constrained Index’s total return.

DWS Asset Management launched three thematic ETF. The three new solutions provide investors with equity exposure to three vital sectors, US green infrastructure, semiconductor, and cybersecurity. Detailed below is the investment focus of each investment solution being launched.

Xtrackers US Green Infrastructure Select Equity ETF will track the Solactive United States Green Infrastructure ESG Screened Index. The index is comprised of companies that have business exposure in the production, generation or distribution of green energy or are engaged in the establishment of a sustainable infrastructure to enable the use of renewable energy and that fulfil certain sustainability criteria.

Xtrackers Semiconductor Select Equity ETF will track the Solactive Semiconductor ESG Screened Index. The index is comprised of companies that have business operations in the semiconductor industry and that fulfil certain sustainability criteria.

Xtrackers Cybersecurity Select Equity ETF will track the Solactive Cyber Security ESG Screened Index. The index is comprised of companies that have business operations in the field of cybersecurity and that fulfil certain sustainability criteria.

Global X ETFs launched the Global X U.S. Cash Flow Kings 100 ETF. The ETF will provide investors with exposure to US companies that generate the highest level of free cash flow. The fund will track the performance of the Global X U.S. Cash Flow Kings 100 Index, which selects the top 100 constituents within the Mirae Asset U.S. 1000 Index exhibiting the best free cash flow yield over the last 12 months.

Blueprint Fund Management and Chesapeake Capital Corp partnered to launch the Blueprint Chesapeake Multi-Asset Trend ETF. The ETF utilises a trend following strategy and will employ it across more than 300 markets and four macro asset classes: currencies, commodities, fixed income, and equities.The ETF’s massive global diversification and long/short flexibility can adapt during all market cycles.
