Hamilton Capital Partners Inc. has launched the Hamilton U.S. Equity Yield Maximizer ETF (SMAX) and Hamilton Technology Yield Maximizer ETF (QMAX), the latest additions to Hamilton ETFs’ yield maximiser suite of ETFs.

SMAX seeks to deliver attractive monthly income, while providing exposure to a portfolio of primarily large-cap U.S. equity securities; QMAX seeks to deliver attractive monthly income, while providing exposure to a portfolio of primarily large-cap US technology equity securities. To reduce volatility and augment dividend income, SMAX and QMAX will each employ an active covered call strategy.

Horizons ETFs Management (Canada) Inc. launched 9 new ETFs, each with a distinct value proposition. These solutions are; 

Horizons Short-Term U.S. Treasury Premium Yield ETF (Ticker: SPAY/SPAY.U) will provide exposure to the performance of a portfolio of U.S. Treasury securities, generally targeting a duration less than three years and high monthly distributions of interest income and option premiums. To generate premiums and reduce volatility, the ETF will employ a dynamic option programme.

Horizons Mid-Term U.S. Treasury Premium Yield ETF (Ticker: MPAY/MPAY.U) will provide exposure to the performance of a portfolio of US Treasury securities, generally targeting a duration between five and 10 years and high monthly distributions of interest income and option premiums. To generate premiums and reduce volatility, the ETF will employ a dynamic option programme.

Horizons Long-Term U.S. Treasury Premium Yield ETF (Ticker: LPAY/LPAY.U) will provide exposure to the performance of a portfolio of U.S. Treasury securities, generally targeting a duration over 10 years and high monthly distributions of interest income and option premiums. To generate premiums and reduce volatility, the ETF will employ a dynamic option programme.

Horizons Enhanced All-Equity Asset Allocation ETF (Ticker: HEQL) seeks to provide enhanced long-term capital growth, primarily by investing, directly or indirectly, in exchange traded funds that provide exposure to a globally diversified portfolio of equity securities. The ETF will utilise leverage, with the aim of maintaining a leverage ratio of approximately 125% per cent.

Horizons Growth Asset Allocation Covered Call ETF (Ticker: GRCC) seeks to provide a combination of a high level of income and moderate long-term capital growth, primarily by investing in exchange traded funds that provide exposure to a globally diversified portfolio of equity securities. The ETF will also employ a dynamic option writing programme.

Horizons Enhanced All-Equity Asset Allocation Covered Call ETF (Ticker: EQCL) seeks to provide a combination of a high level of income and long-term capital growth, primarily by investing, directly or indirectly, in exchange traded funds that provide exposure to a globally diversified portfolio of equity securities. The ETF will also employ a dynamic option writing programme and utilise leverage, with the aim of maintaining a leverage ratio of approximately 125 per cent.

Horizons Growth Asset Allocation ETF (Ticker: HGRW) seeks to provide a combination of long-term capital growth and a modest level of income, primarily by investing in exchange traded funds that provide exposure to a globally diversified portfolio of equity and fixed income securities.

Horizons Enhanced NASDAQ-100 Covered Call ETF (Ticker: QQCL) will provide exposure to the performance of an index of the largest domestic and international, non-financial companies listed on the NASDAQ stock market (i.e., the NASDAQ-100® Index). The ETF will employ a dynamic covered call option writing programme utilise leverage, with the aim of maintaining a leverage ratio of approximately 125%.

Horizons Enhanced Canadian Oil and Gas Equity Covered Call ETF (Ticker: ENCL) will provide exposure to the performance of an index of Canadian companies that are involved in the crude oil and natural gas industry (i.e., the Solactive Equal Weight Canada Oil & Gas Index). The ETF will employ a dynamic covered call option writing programme utilise leverage, with the aim of maintaining a leverage ratio of approximately 125 per cent.

BMO Exchange Traded Funds launched eight new ETFs, these solutions are;

BMO Long Short Canadian Equity ETF (Ticker: ZLSC) seeks to provide income and long-term capital appreciation, primarily by taking long and short positions in equity securities issued by Canadian companies. The ETF will invest excess cash in fixed income instruments or exposures and may employ leverage to enhance returns, whereby the sum of long and short equity exposures will generally exceed 100 per cent.

BMO Long Short US Equity ETF (Ticker: ZLSU) seeks to provide income and long-term capital appreciation, primarily by taking long and short positions in equity securities issued by US companies. The ETF will invest excess cash in fixed income instruments or exposures and may employ leverage to enhance returns, whereby the sum of long and short equity exposures will generally exceed 100 per cent.

BMO S&P/TSX 60 Index ETF (Ticker: ZIU) seeks to replicate the performance of the S&P/TSX 60 Index.

BMO Canadian Banks Accelerator ETF (Ticker: ZEBA) seeks to provide unitholders with income and approximately double (2x) the upside return of an index designed to give exposure to equity securities of diversified Canadian banks up to a cap of 6.6 per cent over the Target Outcome Period under normal market conditions.

The ETF can be held indefinitely, resetting at the end of each Target Outcome Period, approximately quarterly.

BMO USD Cash Management ETF (Ticker: ZUCM/ ZUCM.U) seeks to maximise current income, while at the same time preserving capital and maintaining liquidity, by providing unitholders exposure to high quality short term fixed income securities denominated in US dollars.

BMO US Equity Accelerator Hedged to CAD ETF (Ticker: ZUEA) seeks to provide unitholders with income and approximately double (2x) the upside return of an index designed to measure the large-cap segment of the US equity market up to a cap of 7.0 per cent, over the Target Outcome Period under normal market conditions.

The ETF can be held indefinitely, resetting at the end of each Target Outcome Period, approximately quarterly.

BMO US Equity Buffer Hedged to CAD ETF – October (Ticker: ZOCT) seeks to provide unitholders with income and appreciation  that matches to the extent possible the return of an index designed to measure the large-cap segment of the US equity market up to a cap of 10.5 per cent, while providing a buffer against the first 15 per cent of a decrease in the market price of the, over a period of approximately one year from the first business day of October of each year. 

BMO Global Dividend Opportunities Fund (Ticker: BGDV) seeks to increase the value of unitholders’ investment over the long term by investing primarily in equity securities of companies from around the world that pay dividends or that are expected to pay dividends.

Dynamic Funds launched four actively managed ETFs, these solutions are:

Dynamic Active Canadian Bond ETF (Ticker: DXBC), seeks to provide income while preserving capital through investment in an actively managed and diversified portfolio of primarily Canadian fixed income securities.

Dynamic Active Global Equity Income ETF (Ticker: DXGE), seeks to provide income and long-term capital appreciation by investing primarily in equity securities globally that pay a dividend or distribution.

Dynamic Active U.S. Equity ETF (Ticker: DXUS), seeks to provide long-term capital appreciation by investing primarily in a broad range of U.S. equity securities.

Dynamic Active U.S. Investment Grade Corporate Bond ETF (Ticker: DXBU) seeks to provide income and long-term capital appreciation and invests primarily in U.S. dollar denominated investment grade corporate bonds.

Purpose Investments Inc. launched the Purpose Active Portfolio Solutions Suite and Purpose Tactical Thematic Fund (Ticker: RTT). RTT is an innovative equity fund that uses a momentum rules-based strategy to buy and sell diversified investments. The ETF will invest primarily in thematic ETFs within North America, seeking to capitalise on market momentum by targeting thematic investments with exposure to dynamic and cutting-edge fields like renewable energy, AI, and biotechnology.

The Purpose Active Portfolio Solutions suite includes three single-ticket portfolio solutions designed to suit a broad range of investor risk tolerance. The three funds are: 

Purpose Active Conservative Fund (Ticker: PACF), focused on income generation, low volatility and preservation of capital to suit the risk tolerance of conservative investors.

Purpose Active Balanced Fund (Ticker: PABF), pursues a balance of capital growth and income with moderate volatility to suit an average risk tolerance.

Purpose Active Growth Fund (Ticker: PAGF), emphasises capital growth over income to be suitable for investors with a higher risk tolerance.

Evolve Funds Group Inc launched the Evolve Enhanced Yield Bond Fund (Ticker: BOND) and Evolve NASDAQ Technology Enhanced Yield Index Fund (Ticker: QQQY). The former will provide investors with a low-cost fixed income solution that will seek to deliver attractive monthly income and long-term capital appreciation by utilising an active covered call strategy. The latter seeks to replicate the performance of the Nasdaq-100 Technology Sector Adjusted Market-Cap Weighted Index, while seeking to deliver attractive monthly income and long-term capital appreciation by utilising an active covered call strategy.

AGF Investments Inc. launched the AGF Emerging Markets ex China Fund (Ticker: AEMX) will invest in companies with significant business interests in emerging market countries outside of China trading at a significant discount to their expected earnings potential. Companies are evaluated based on having strong long-term earnings growth potential, excellent management teams, and relative dominance in their respective markets.
