Five new ETF offerings were launched for the week, each with a distinct value proposition for investors.  Detailed below are the respective launches from each asset manager.

Goose Hollow launched the Goose Hollow Multi-Strategy Income ETF (Ticker: GHMS). The actively managed fund allocates its assets among ETFs covering domestic and foreign corporate debt; domestic and foreign government debt; and agency or mortgage-backed debt.

IDX Shares launched the IDX Shares Dynamic Innovation ETF (Ticker: DYNI). This ETF-of-ETF solution allocates its assets among solutions that capture disruptive innovation trends based on a quantitative approach. The methodology considers the ETFs’ momentum and volatility for purposes of portfolio selection and weightings.

Virtus Investment Partners, Inc launched the Virtus Newfleet Short Duration Core Plus Bond ETF (Ticker: SDCP). The actively managed ETF invests primarily in investment-grade, short-duration debt securities from multiple bond sectors. The fund will be sub-advised by Newfleet Asset Management.

First Trust Advisors launched the First Trust Active Global Quality Income ETF (Ticker: AGQI), a new fund based on the reorganization of the First Trust Dynamic Europe Equity Income Fund (Ticker: FDEU).  AGQI will focus on income-producing equity securities, particularly large-cap firms, but can invest in companies of a mid-cap or small-cap nature. As subadviser, Janus Henderson will invest in dividend-paying equities, emphasising companies that can provide stable and growing dividends. It will seek companies that can maintain and/or grow dividend payments to shareholders without compromising their financial stability.

Tema ETFs launched the Tema Cardiovascular & Metabolic ETF (Ticker: HRTS). The thematic solution focuses on companies that lead the fight against obesity and diabetes, or metabolic diseases, and cardiovascular diseases; popular drugmakers such as Novo Nordisk, Eli Lilly, Amgen, and Vertex Pharmaceuticals will be holdings within the fund.
