MerQube has announced the appointment of Dave Mueller as Chief Financial Officer.  Mueller brings 17 years experience operating in corporate and strategic finance at top tier firms servicing the financial services sector.

He has spent the last seven years at technology VC firm Intel Capital where he was responsible for assessing potential investments in companies and for optimising the financial potential of the companies that were included in the portfolio.

Mueller started his career at Cambridge International Partners, a boutique investment bank specializing in the investment management sector.  In 2013 he moved to Intel Corporation fulfilling a number of strategic finance roles before moving in 2017 to Intel Capital where his roles included leading this V.C. firm’s investment activities in the fintech and cybersecurity spaces.  As an Investment Director and key member of the Intel Capital team that led MerQube’s series-B fundraising in July 2023, Mueller joined MerQube’s board.

Dave Mueller comments: “Having spent the last seven years of my career assessing hundreds of fintech companies for a leading VC firm in the space, I am thrilled to be joining MerQube’s leadership team.  The talent, technology, timing and opportunity here are all exceptional.  I look forward to working closely with a great team to optimize MerQube’s financial opportunities and help take it forward into its next phase of growth as it empowers the future of index investing for its clients.“

Vinit Srivastava, CEO at MerQube, comments: “Given Dave’s exceptional knowledge of what good looks like when it comes to potential in the fintech space, it’s exciting he has chosen to join MerQube. His knowledge and understanding of the fintech landscape and how to apply corporate and strategic finance expertise in this space speaks for itself and will be key to setting MerQube’s future direction.”
