Winners announced in ETF Express Canadian awards 2024

RELATED TOPICS

The winners were announced in the second ETF Express Canadian awards at the event held at The Quay in Toronto, attended by many key players from the Canadian ETF industry.

March 9th, 1990 saw the first ETF listed in Canada on the Toronto Stock Exchange and the industry in Canada has seen steady and innovative growth since then. Speaking at the awards’ event, Beverly Chandler, managing editor of ETF Express, said: “Talking with some of you over the past few weeks, I get a strong sense of the pride that you have in your ETF industry. It might be next door to the world’s largest ETF market, but the Canadian one has enjoyed a number of firsts, from that first launch in 1990, to being the first to launch a psychedelic ETF, the first crypto asset ETFs and the world’s first covered call ETFs. Innovative and interesting sums up your ETF industry.”
