SIX Swiss Exchange writes that it has welcomed Waystone ETF ICAV as a new issuer of ETFs on their exchange.

SIX writes that as a leading provider of specialist services to the global asset management industry, Waystone’s white-label ETF platform has enabled Bellevue Asset Management to broaden the choice of active ETFs available to investors on the Swiss stock exchange by listing its Bellevue Healthcare UCITS ETF.

The Bellevue Healthcare ETF is a UCITS ETF that combines an active portfolio management approach with the advantages of on-exchange trading, offering transparency, efficiency and flexibility. Bellevue is a specialised asset manager listed at SIX Swiss Exchange with core competencies covering healthcare investments, small & mid-sized entrepreneur strategies and multi asset, bonds & alternatives.

With this launch, SIX now hosts 32 ETF issuers offering a total of 2,090 ETFs – writing that this makes it one of Europe’s most dynamic and diverse ETF marketplaces.

So far this year, 238 new ETFs have been listed at SIX Swiss Exchange, including 83 actively managed products – the highest number of new active ETF listings in eight years.

Paul Heffernan, CEO Waystone ETFs, says: “The European ETF landscape is undergoing rapid transformation, with active strategies emerging as a key growth driver for asset managers. At Waystone, our platform is purpose-built to offer a scalable and adaptable solution, enabling innovative partners like Bellevue to seamlessly bring their differentiated expertise into the ETF space – without the burden of building infrastructure from scratch. This collaboration underscores our commitment to supporting distinctive investment approaches and expanding their reach across the European market.”

David Smith, Head ETF Sales, Exchanges, SIX, adds: “We warmly welcome our new ETF issuer Waystone and wish Bellevue Asset Management a lot of success on the Swiss market. The steady arrival of new entrants emphasizes that even 25 years after launching our ETF segment – as one of the first exchanges in Europe –has continuously grown in attractiveness.”
