BNP Paribas Asset Management lists 14 ETFs on London Stock Exchange

RELATED TOPICS

BNP Paribas Asset Management has announced the listing of fourteen ETFs on the London Stock Exchange (LSE) including active ones. This is in addition to the listing of four ESG equity ETFs on the LSE in October 2024.

The listing activity covers BNPP AM’s ETFs across a number of strategies and themes, including the likes of enhanced alpha (active), defence and fixed income. These strategies reflect the breadth of BNP Paribas Easy ETF range, and they seek to address a broad spectrum of investor needs, the firm says.

Sabrina Principi, Global Head of Business Development ETF & Index Solutions at BNPP AM, says: “This strategic development marks an important step in extending our access to global investors, and leveraging the UK’s robust ETF market to advance our international growth ambitions. BNPP AM remains committed to, and excited by, the UK’s deep ETF market pool, and this important milestone reflects this.

“The UK represents a key market for our business, and these additional listings on the London Stock Exchange provide an exceptional opportunity to expand our reach. I’m excited to embark on this new phase as we continue to grow internationally.”

Daniel Dornel, Head of ETF Research at BNPP AM says: “We are currently seeing remarkable demand from investors for ETFs. Recent drivers of this demand include interest in the defence theme, active strategies and AI, among others, as investors continue to position portfolios in response to a rapidly changing world. ETFs appear to be a vehicle of choice in volatile markets, thanks to the balance of liquidity, transparency and flexibility they can potentially provide. The sustainability of these inflows will depend largely on the rotational dynamics across sectors and themes.”
