European ETF Market Wrap: Flows, Performance and Leaders | Week 25, 2026

Here’s a recap of European ETF action between June 15 and June 19, from our data partners, Trackinsight, highlighting how capital moved and performance varied across asset classes, regions, and themes.

According to data by Trackinsight, European-listed Equity ETFs attracted €9.78 billion, the largest allocation across all asset classes during the week. Fixed Income ETFs gathered €2.15 billion, while Commodity ETPs added €689.0 million.

Cryptocurrency products attracted €21.8 million in inflows. Multi-Asset ETFs recorded outflows of €19.7 million during the period.

Sector ETF Flows: Financials Leads While Industrials Sees Largest Outflow

Sector allocations were mixed during the week, with Financials attracting the largest inflow at €351.6 million.

Information Technology gathered €183.6 million, while Communication Services attracted €105.4 million. Consumer Discretionary added €38.2 million, Health Care gathered €33.9 million, and Materials attracted €26.5 million. Consumer Staples and Real Estate added €16.2 million and €14.5 million respectively.

Industrials recorded the largest sector outflow at €125.8 million. Energy declined by €88.4 million, while Utilities recorded outflows of €48.7 million.

Sector ETF Performance: Information Technology Leads Gains

Information Technology delivered the strongest sector performance among the major sectors, advancing 5.21% during the week.

Financials gained 4.10%, while Materials rose 2.30%. Industrials advanced 1.17%, and Consumer Discretionary gained 0.71%.

Utilities rose 0.35% during the period.

Communication Services declined 0.21%, while Real Estate fell 1.01%. Health Care lost 1.56%, and Consumer Staples declined 1.94%.

Energy recorded the weakest sector performance, falling 5.71%.

Geographic Equity ETF Flows: US Exposures Lead Allocations

US-focused ETFs attracted €3.41 billion, the largest geographic allocation of the week.

World exposures gathered €1.69 billion, while Developed Markets attracted €1.16 billion. Europe-focused products added €866.9 million, and Japan gathered €825.2 million.

Emerging Markets attracted €532.6 million, while Eurozone ETFs gathered €227.8 million. South Korea attracted €212.8 million, UK-focused products added €205.4 million, and Switzerland gathered €126.3 million.

Hong Kong recorded the largest highlighted geographic outflow at €105.0 million, while Spain declined by €70.0 million.

Geographic Equity Performance: South Korea Leads Weekly Gains

South Korea delivered the strongest geographic performance among the highlighted markets, advancing 12.48% during the week.

Developed Asia Pacific gained 6.80%, while Taiwan rose 6.62%. Turkey advanced 5.96%, and Emerging Markets Asia gained 5.90%.

East Asia rose 5.76%, while Philippines and Indonesia gained 5.59% each. Japan advanced 5.36%, and Pakistan gained 5.31%.

Emerging Markets rose 4.99%, while UAE advanced 4.67%.

Norway recorded the weakest highlighted performance, declining 4.85%.

Thematic ETF Flows: Artificial Intelligence & Big Data Leads Inflows

Artificial Intelligence & Big Data attracted €168.1 million, the largest thematic inflow of the week.

Space & Deep Sea gathered €55.0 million, while Smart City attracted €45.2 million. Strategic Metals added €34.6 million, and Disruptive Technology gathered €33.5 million.

Net Zero 2050 recorded the largest thematic outflow at €654.8 million. Alternative Energy declined by €214.4 million, while Global Defense recorded outflows of €142.1 million.

Thematic ETF Performance: BioTech & Genomics and Nuclear Energy Lead

BioTech & Genomics delivered the strongest thematic performance of the week, rising 7.42%.

Nuclear Energy gained 7.00%, while Artificial Intelligence & Big Data advanced 5.44%. Blockchain rose 5.23%, and Robotics & Automation gained 5.20%.

Emerging Markets Disruptive Technology advanced 4.47%, while Future Mobility gained 4.32%.

On the negative side, Space & Deep Sea declined 4.67%. China Digitalization fell 3.65%, while North America Energy Infrastructure lost 2.58%. Solar Energy declined 2.42%.

Fixed Income ETF Flows: Corporate Investment Grade Leads

Corporate Investment Grade ETFs attracted €1.09 billion, the largest allocation within fixed income categories.

Corporate High Yield products gathered €467.9 million, while Government Investment Grade ETFs added €376.2 million.

Aggregate Investment Grade products attracted €147.5 million, and Government High Yield gathered €46.3 million.

Commodity ETP Flows: Gold Dominates Commodity Allocations

Gold ETPs attracted €779.5 million, the largest commodity inflow of the week.

Silver gathered €34.4 million, while Metal exposures attracted €34.1 million. Copper added €29.0 million during the period.

Agriculture recorded the largest commodity outflow at €96.3 million. Multi Commodities declined by €44.8 million, while Crude Oil recorded outflows of €22.1 million.

Crypto ETP Flows: Bitcoin Leads Inflows

Bitcoin products attracted €27.5 million, the largest cryptocurrency inflow of the week.

Ether gathered €4.6 million in inflows.

Hyperliquid recorded outflows of €6.2 million, while Gram (ex-Toncoin) declined by €3.9 million. Multi-Cryptocurrency products lost €2.8 million, and TRON recorded outflows of €2.2 million.
