WisdomTree launches defined return ETFs

RELATED TOPICS

WisdomTree has entered the defined outcome ETF market with the launch of two actively managed Defined Return UCITS ETFs.

The WisdomTree Defined Return Autocallable EUR Active UCITS ETF (DRTN) and WisdomTree Defensive Defined Return Autocallable EUR Active UCITS ETF (DRTD) are listed on Xetra and Borsa Italiana with a Total Expense Ratio (TER) of 0.65 per cent.

The firm writes that the WisdomTree Defined Return Autocallable EUR Active ETFs are designed to deliver more predictable equity investment outcomes through diversified, actively managed exposure of autocallables on liquid large cap indices such as the EURO STOXX 50. By harvesting both the equity and volatility risk premia, the strategy seeks to provide a consistent and resilient return profile across different market environments. DRTN targets an annualised return of 8-9 per cent, while the defensive strategy, DRTD targets a return of 6-7 per cent per annum.
