We are so very pleased to bring you the results of this year’s US ETF awards, and photos from the event held last Thursday in New York. The great and the good and all their friends and relatives (at least that is what it felt like) met to celebrate this amazing industry at a very congenial party.
We will be publishing the special report on the event in a couple of weeks. I am currently working on the interviews for that report and can see that our methodology which involves data and peer voting throws up interesting trends in the ETF industry over time. We will be exploring this more over coming weeks. Do I feel a strongly qualitative index coming on? We shall see!
We also continued on our global path this week with an interview with Andrew Campion of the Australian Securities Exchange on the growth of ETFs in the country. Assets are coming in but maybe not from the investor groups one might have imagined. You can read more here.
We are very grateful to STOXX, our partner in our two weekly and one monthly ETF launches columns, and what a lot of launches there are. We have a particular favourite this week in the UK from KraneShares who celebrated the launch of their humanoid robot ETF by unleashing the Unitree G1 Ultimate robot from the RoboStore to firstly open the London market and then taking it to British classic bakery chain Gregg’s for a sausage roll.
